Hello Family and Friends,
We made it to Tucson, Arizona safe and sound!!!!
For those of you whom we haven't spoken with recently Rich took a new job as a Federal Air Interdiction Agent with Customs and Border Protection. He accepted the job in Tucson, AZ in the beginning of the year and in May they sent him to Federal Law Enforcement Training. He graduated at the end of July and we packed up our house in St. Louis (a self move) which I do not recommend......full service all the way.....I appreciate the military moves all the more now. So now we've had our first full week in the desert as Tucsonians and we are loving it! We have a beautiful 360 view of mountains, a nice house with a backyard full of grass(you don't see much of that around here), and Rich has a 15 minute commute to work(which is so much better than the 3 hour airplane ride).
The kids are great and dealing very well with the move. Also, Sam started kindergarten right when we got here. Sam did great however I balled for half the day......I guess its just a Mom thing. The school is walking distance from our house and we love his teacher; what more can you ask for? He got his first birthday party invite today and he is so excited!!!!
Well this is enough for now. Enjoy the pics. Let me know what you think of my blog, it my first time doing something like this but I thought it would be the easiest to keep everyone updated with news and pics since I've been so bad about that lately.
Keep in touch,
